Dearest Judi,
As I write, I am thinking a thank you is not an adequate way to thank you for the hours of dedicated service you have given to our school system and each and every student in our community. When you took on the position of chairperson of accountability you showed us the path of efficiency and purpose. Please know how deeply I appreciated your hard work.

To Whom It May Concern,
Judi Snelling has asked that I write a letter of reference for her and it is with pleasure that I do so. Judi has served our district and its students well and been an invaluable help to me over the last three years. She has served in an exemplary manner as School To Career coordinator, grant writer, life skills teacher and as Chair of the Accountability Team. Additionally, her connections in the real estate business have enabled us to recruit, hire and retain new teachers.
Judi brings a great wealth of education, training and experience in the area of career exploration and training as well as vocational education that have worked to the benefit of our students. Her work with at-risk students was an integral part of the success in obtaining a $33,000 Christa MaCauliffe Fellowship grant to build a solar-powered car to compete in the Winston Challenge in Texas.
Her efforts in Life Skills curriculum have brought many useful programs and teacher training sessions to our school. Her connections in the business community have resulted in several opportunities for our students that would have gone unnoticed had it not been for Judi's assistance. We now have a connection to the workforce program for our students that did not exist in the past.
One of her accomplishments that have meant the most to me has been her successful effort to achieve a turn around of the Accountability Team. Prior to Judi's leadership, the Accountability team meeting seemed to focus on the negative and made for unpleasant meetings. Thanks to Judi, the team was able to look for and promote the positive accomplishments of our school and move forward with the improvement process.
Any district that would be fortunate enough to hire Judi Snelling, could expect to witness great improvement in their School To Career and Vocational Education programs. She has my highest recommendation as the best individual I have met in this field in my career in education dating back to the 1960s. Should a personal conversation or any additional information be desired, please do not hesitate to call.
Respectfully,
Steve Fitzgerald

To Whom It May Concern:
I had the pleasure of working with Judy Snelling on Ridgway's 2000 New Years Celebration (R2K), to provide a community event through a family dance and .party.
Judy came in at the last minute and truly "baled out" the R2K Committee when a local youth program did not follow through and provide the segments they had agreed to. Judy single handedly organized a two hour teen dance that was held prior to the family event;
decorated the whole facility; organized a child care area with volunteers and games and events for the children; did all ordering for the bar and organized volunteer bartenders and wait staff.
The R2K event turned out to be the largest attended event we have had in our community in many years? Parents thanked us for days on organizing the event so the whole family could participate. The child care provided parents with the ability to include all members of the family in this important event. Everyone of all ages had a great time and enjoyed spending this special holiday with family, friends and neighbors. And, without Judy's assistance the event would not have been the total success it was!
Sincerely,
Pam Kraft
